THE ART OF

DOING NOTHING

AND NOT FEELING GUILTY ABOUT IT!

Most of our guests stay at Faraway Domes to catch up on sleep, enjoy a long lazy breakfast, lounge on the deck under the warmth of the sun, gaze at the clouds and read a novel before getting ready for an uninterrupted dinner under the stars. But if you are looking for activities, we certainly have that too!

Local things to do within an hours drive:

SELF GUIDED BUSH WALKS

Soak up the breathtaking views while you meander through exotic grasses, emerging woodland, basalt hills and habitat for native animals through our dry rainforest. You’ll have the hills all to yourself, with the only sound being the singing birds and grazing livestock.

Meander through hill-country paddocks, creek valleys and native bush and along untamed ridges. Excpect to see grazing cattle, sheep, goats and native birds such as the cockatoo, magpies and emus. The hikes are relatively easy with some steep sections.

The ruggered range is blessed with stunning walks, waterholes and lookouts. Take a solo hike through the unspoiled wilderness or better yet, grab your partner and explore Crystal Hill for a picturesque sunset picnic.

TAKE A SWIM IN A WATERHOLE
